Company History

1959

Incorporated as Indian Aluminium Cables Ltd.

1982

Established a power cable manufacturing unit in Faridabad, becoming the first in India to import a 152mm extruder from Mallifer, Finland.

1998

Renamed to Hindusthan Vidyut Products Ltd.

2000

Acquired Insulators & Electricals Company in Mandideep, Madhya Pradesh.

2003

Expanded the Faridabad cable division with the installation of a CCV line to manufacture HT XLPE power cables.

2010

Executed the largest single order of 11kV 3C x 400sq mm (418 km) from BESCOM, Bangalore.

2015

Commenced conductor and aluminum wire rod production at a new facility in Khurda, Odisha, and initiated the production of epoxy-formulated products through Hindusthan Speciality Chemicals Ltd (HSCL).

2016

Successfully implemented SAP and executed various international orders, including HTLS composite carbon core conductors to South Africa and ACSS to the domestic market.
